More about Liming
Liming is an enthusiastic sound engineer based in Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications (CQUPT), with a rich experience of over 10 years in algorithms design for sound field control, audio/speech analysis, and realtime speech enhancement.
He designs audio & speech processing algorithm
He received the Bachelor and Master degrees in 2012 and 2015, respectively, from Henan University of Technology and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) in China. Liming got his Ph.D degree with Prof. Mads Graesboll Christensen at the CREATE in Aalborg University (AAU). He was hired as a postdoc with ACEZONE and AAU for two years. Now, he is a lecturer with the Communication and Information Engineering Department in CQUPT.
He has published tens of papers in peer-reviewed conference proceedings(e.g., ICASSP, EUSIPCO, WASPAA, INTERSPEECH) and journals (e.g., IEEE TASLP, IEEE SPL, speech communication). His research interests lie in audio and speech signal processing including the topics signal modeling, speech analysis, sound filed control and noise reduction. He has received several scholarships and awards, including the National undergraduate scholarship of China (Top 1%) in 2011, national postgraduate scholarship of China (Top 1%) in 2014, outstanding graduate award in Chongqing in 2015, the EliteForsk travel grant in 2018 from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Denmark.
